DMG Creative Look of the Month

Well another contest for all your super Top Models. This one is for both men and women so be sure to take a peek at it guys!

DMG Creations caters to both men and women from casual wear to formal wears providing you quality clothing you can afford. In lieu with this the company is holding a monthly contest called MR and MS. Creative Look of the Month.

RULES OF ENTRY:
1.) Teleport to our store at Plush Genesis

2.) Purchase a minimum of one outfit.

3.) Have your picture taken wearing that outfit. Name your PIC “DMG Creative Look(your name)”.

4.) You can have several pictures taken but wearing different outfits. ( All clothes should come from the store).Pls do not send pics wearing the same outfit.(Remember you may only submit one picture submitting many pics is just an option).NOTE: If you will submit several entries better to put it in a notecard.

5.) Since some of the clothes are Unisex you can mix and match.

6.) This is not a photography contest. We are after your creativity in styling the outfit you are wearing. ( You will be judged on how you carry our clothes and how u make yourself shine and the outfit standout)

7.) You can accessorize with hair, jewelry and shoes.

8.) This is a non voting contest. Pictures will be sent to judges in a Look book which you will have a copy so you know whom you are competing with and the top 20 will be posted in our website and the top 10 will be featured in our E-Style Magazine.

What you will get out of this contest:

9.) we will have 2 winners( a winner and a runner up).

12.) Winners will receive the following benefits and opportunities:

first place:
- 1000L$
- He/she will have the title “Creative Look of the Month”
- he/she will be our Magazine cover for the next issue of E-Style Magazine.
- he/she will be the stores print/catalog model for the month (which is a paid position)
- An outfit of her choice from DMG creations(excluding fat packs)

runner up:
-500L$
- he /she will be the stores print/catalog model for the month (which is a paid position)
-he/she will be E-Style’s featured model for next issue.

NOTE: Submit a full perm picture 1024×1024 to DOCSEREE MISTWALKER on or before Nov15th. Deadline of entries 6pm Nov 15th.

CONTESTANTS DO NOT FORGET TO JOIN OUR GROUP. All updates and announcement will be coursed through group notices. Once your entry is accepted you will have the title “Creative Look Finalist” so if you don’t get the tag that means your entry was lost in my inventory. So be sure to name it properly.

Studio Nails Spokesmodel Contest

Studio Nails is proud to announce its first ever Spokesmodel Contest.   This contest is unique to SL as it is NOT a popularity contest, but a real talent search with a real winner qualified to do the job.  If you think you have what it takes, please read the rules and entry procedure below.

Contest Rules and Procedure:

RULES:

1.Must be at least 30 days old with excellent skin, hair, clothes etc.

2.  Must have a basic knowledge of fashion in SL and modeling experience would be a plus.

3. Only one entry per model.

4. Must be fluent in English since appearances made in SL will require some chat (voice chat is not required).

5. Must be available for special appearances, which will be announced well in advance and with prior knowledge of the Spokesmodel’s schedule.  If the First Place Winner cannot attend appearances, then the Second Place Winner would assume her position and the Third Place if Second Place cannot attend.

HOW TO ENTER:

Entry fee is $L100 paid once your notecard is accepted and you are invited to join the Spokes-model group.  Once you are contacted, you have 24 hours to join the group (by invitation only) and pay the entry fee.  If your entry is not complete, someone will contact you to correct any missing or wrong information.   If your entry is not corrected timely, your entry will be discarded.

1.  Submit a notecard  (rename the notecard—Spokesmodel-(your name) with your full SL  name, SL age, RL age (must be at least 18 in rl) and a short description about why you would make the perfect Studio Nails Spokesmodel.  Please also note if you are affiliated with any modeling agencies (with graduation date), any experience you may have and any other languages you speak, if any.  Please keep the notecards brief.

2. In the notecard, please place 2 recent pictures.  One can be of yourself in anyway you like-no nudity please.  The second picture should be a close up of your hands wearing Studio Nails (basic set for $L10 here )  The Judges will be looking at creativity of pictures.  So have fun with it.  These do NOT need to be professional but they do need to be creative!

3. Once your notecard is complete, send it either to Belle Vultee. Someone will contact you to let you know you have successfully entered the contest.

4.  No more entries will be accepted after September 30, 2009 at 10pm SLT

5. On October 7, 2009 10 finalists will be chosen.  Those finalists will move on to the main event where they will be judged on poise, their speaking ability (no voice chat is required) and appearance.  Remember, those finalists will be representing Studio Nails at upcoming events so please be aware you must be wearing them if you are a finaiist!

JUDGING:

October 16, 2009 the big SpokesModel Finalist Competition will be held!

This is NOT a popularity contest, however we would love it if your friends would come out and show their support if you are chosen as one of the 10 finalists.    Remember, as a spokesmodel at upcoming Studio Nails events, it is important to bring those friends for support!

A panel of 3 SL celebrity judges, including the owner of Studio Nails, Anastasia Magic, will do the judging. Judges’ names will NOT be revealed until the finalists are chosen.  Studio Nails is looking for the real deal here, ladies, so please be sure this is a position you want to have before entering.  This is a JOB.

How the judges will be scoring our finalists will be given to every finalist prior to the event so that she can prepare.  In the event of a very close tie, Anastasia Magic, the owner of Studio Nails, will pick our winner.  Please do not IM Ms. Magic.

All judges’ decisions are final.

Please be aware, your creativity and ability to keep the crowd interested in our product is a must.  Please read all the information given to you with the Studio Nails package.  You may need to explain how to use the product if you become our Spokesmodel.

 

Fashion Addict's Paradise

As anyone who has read any of my previous posts on this blog, it’s obvious that I can be quite cautious with my meager amount of Lindens unless I see something that is amazingly high quality and something I just can’t live without. As a female I know that there are many women who say that on a daily basis every time they walk past a store but I probably only do such things twice a week, three times at the most! [Grins] So I was browsing around and searching for more top design stores as I like to do when I’m in a bored and lazy mood when I came across Le.Look, an amazing mall that has it all- menswear, women’s wear, dresses, skirts, casuals, accessories, jewelry, etc. Now I know what you may be thinking, how does this mall differ from the thousands of malls that litter the grid with their many vendors that populate it? Well this is a model and fashion addict’s paradise and I don’t say that lightly! It had everything that one might need to update their wardrobe with some new stylish choice pieces that would just put your fashion senses over the edge.

When I teleported into the mall I was stunned with the entire look of the mall. It was chic, modern, clean, stylish and everything that I could wish for in a shopping center. The style, layout, and detail made me want to stay there upon hours and hours just looking at the stores, not the clothes mind you but the stores alone! But after I picked my tongue off the ground and rolled it back into my mouth I set out to take a look at this magical new world and what all that it had to offer and I’m so glad I wasn’t disappointed. Store after store held the names of Second Life’s top designers such as [LeeZu!], Vista Animations (model poses galore), LeLutka, Aoharu, Calypso Giano, :ROZOREGALIA:, and so much more. This is a place of utter temptation for those that are really in need of rehab. [Laughs] It’s also not for those that are tight with their budget but I believe there is always a time to let loose, just don’t let it put you in the hole! I will admit that I left with arms laden with bags upon bags of purchases from my “window shopping” ventures and while I may regret it later, instant gratification can be wonderful! It’s a place I recommend to both men and women to check out and enjoy. Be sure to take a friend along to be the voice of reason when you get the urge to make that wallet/purse cry! [Laughs]
